The first of the Litemares: The An’GLOW’fish!
This is first piece in my series of night lights to terrify children! He hangs on the wall, lights up the room, and terrifies your children. What more do you need? There are three so far, which are all complete. More images of the other two will come soon!
I’m pretty happy with this guy. Be his friend.

Working on some night lights to terrify children. Beginning with reworking the anglerfish I made in the past.
I’m doing a series of three prototypes, and they will be called Litemares. I’m pretty excited for this whole project this semester!

This week’s work for Illustration Friday was “mirror.” So I drew some skeletons! I did the drawing in ball point pen, beuase it’s been too long since I’ve done a drawing in ball point. Then I finished it off in photoshop.
Which version does everyone like the most?
Here’s what I did this week for Illustration Friday! Mirror!

Here’s my illustration for this week’s Illustration Friday. The week’s word was “Imagination.” So I did a hexgon pattern type a thing.
The scanner didn’t treat my painting too nicely so I have a few versions that I was playing with!
Just reblogging myself and stuff.

For the last few years, the high school I went to teamed up with vans, painted shoes, and put on a big fashion show to show them off. This year I came back and helped out nd created this limited edition peter that will be sold at the show. I teamed up with my friend Jake who as also a big part of the show when we were in high school. And this is what we came up with! The show will be this Saturday at 5, taking place on the RMCAD campus (ironically where I am now).
The show, Fresh 23, (23 artists painting shoes) was eventually noticed by vans headquarters and turned into to a national competition with 500 schools being involved. Vans’s contest, Custom Culture, has picked the 10 finalists from each region and my high school, Wheat Ridge, has make the top ten for the Southwest division. Now it is up toindernet voters to pick their favorite shoes. The winning school’s art department will get $50,000 which would be amazing for any school. So go take a minute and vote for your favorite shoes in each division! Vote here! http://www.vans.com/customculture/
We did not win the years I was involved but perhaps this year they can!
